Paris has the Eiffel Tower, Seattle has the Space Needle, and New York has the Empire State Building, and Miami ? Miami will now have its own iconic landmark, its very own observation tower to be called “SkyRise” Miami. The observation tower is being built by Arquitectonica and will be at least 1,000 feet tall, making it the tallest building in Miami. Its bobby pin design makes it one of the most unique looking landmarks in the world. It will feature a bungee jump, a night club, a flight simulator, a restaurant, an amphitheater, a 50 story drop ride, and plenty of room for event space. The tower is projected to cost around $300-400 Million to be built. It will be built on a vacant parking lot just behind the Miami Bayside Marketplace.
We are INCREDIBLY excited about this development, and believe it is long overdue Miami had a landmark such as this. It certainly is reflective of the thriving city Miami has become, don’t you think?
